Super 10 trucking

The Super 10 is the Bay Area workhorse for a reason: it carries a serious legal payload but still turns around on a residential street and backs into a gate a transfer cannot. On demolition debris and urban dirt export it is usually the right answer.

D’s runs Super 10s with drivers who have worked the tight sites — downtown Oakland pads, San Francisco streets with a working lane and no more, hillside cuts where the turnaround is measured in feet. The truck matters less than the driver on those jobs, and ours have done them.

How we run it

Dispatch asks about your access before assigning the truck — gate width, turnaround, overhead lines, street grade. Ten minutes on the phone beats a truck that cannot get in on day one.

Loads run at legal weight, ticketed per load. On export work we pair the truck with the right disposal site for the material; on delivery work we sequence loads so your crew is never buried or starved.

Need more Super 10s than we own for a peak week? We coordinate vetted partner capacity and tell you plainly which trucks are ours and which are partners.

Who orders this

Demolition contractors and excavation subs on city sites. GCs whose bid quantities say transfer but whose site access says otherwise. Paving crews on street jobs where the truck has to live inside a lane closure.

Questions estimators ask

What does a Super 10 legally carry?
Payload depends on the truck’s registration and California axle-weight law, and we load to the legal figure, not the brochure figure. Tell dispatch your quantities and we will translate them into loads honestly.
Super 10 or transfer — how do I choose?
Access and cycle. If your gate and streets take a transfer, its bigger payload usually wins on long hauls. If access is tight or loads are staged, the Super 10’s maneuverability wins. Describe the site and dispatch will make the call with you.
Can they work inside a lane closure?
Yes — that is much of their Bay Area work. Give us the traffic-control plan and working hours, and drivers arrive briefed rather than learning the closure at the gate.
