Haul With D's

Bay Area owner-operators and small fleets: steady general-contractor work, dispatched straight to your driver's phone, ticketed digitally, and paid without the paper chase.

Why Run With Us

Three reasons subs stay on our list

We are not looking for one truck for one day. We are building the network that lets us say yes to bigger jobs — which only works if the trucks on it want to come back.

01

Steady GC Work

D's holds long bid packages with Bay Area general contractors — earthwork, demolition, aggregate and paving support. That work runs in cycles: the same job, the same dirt, week after week, not a scramble for a single day here and there.

Repeat cycles, so your week fills up before it starts.

02

Dispatch Tech Included

Your trucks run on Haler — the same dispatch platform our company fleet runs on, with nothing for you to buy or set up. Tomorrow’s job lands on your driver’s phone with the start location, material and load count already on it. Nobody calls you at 5 a.m. to read out an address.

No morning phone tag. No chasing a dispatcher for tomorrow.

03

Fast Pay

Slow payment is the reason most subs stop answering. We took the paperwork out of the way instead of just promising to try harder: every load is photographed and signed when it is hauled, so nothing sits waiting on a lost ticket at the end of the month.

Your terms are confirmed in writing before your first load.

Dispatch Tech Included

The same platform, not a stripped-down version

Subs on our list are dispatched, tracked and ticketed exactly like our company trucks — one dispatcher, one map, one standard. The GC never sees a difference, and neither do you.

  • The job, on the phone

    01

Start location, material, truck type and how many loads — sent the night before. Your driver taps accept and heads out.

  • Tracked while you roll

    02

Dispatch tracks status through the day, which means fewer calls asking where your driver is.

  • Digital load tickets

    03

Your driver photographs the scale ticket at the site — no glovebox full of paper at month end.

  • Signed on site

    04

The foreman signs on the screen before the truck leaves, so loads, tonnage and hours are agreed on the spot.

The whole technology requirement on your end: a smartphone in the truck.

What We Need

What it takes to get on the list

We vet every truck we dispatch, because the GC is holding us to one standard across the whole job. Nothing here is unusual — it is the paperwork you already keep.

  • Active for-hire operating authority and a current USDOT number
  • Certificate of insurance naming D's Trucking Service as additional insured
  • A DVIR program — trucks inspected daily and defects logged
  • Drivers with clean records and current medical cards
  • Trucks that pass a walkaround: legal, tarped and job-site ready
  • A smartphone in every truck for dispatch and load tickets

Specific insurance limits and endorsements are confirmed during onboarding.

Getting Started

Four steps, one phone call

There is no portal to set up and no application to chase. Tell us what you run and we call you.

  1. 01

    Tell us what you run

Truck types, how many, and the area you work out of. The form below takes a minute.

  2. 02

    We call you

A real conversation about the work we have running and where your trucks fit.

  3. 03

    Paperwork once

Authority, COI, W-9 and the hauling agreement. Done a single time, not per job.

  4. 04

    You start getting dispatched

Your drivers install Haler, and the work shows up on their phones the night before.
